Personality - the first word that comes up while thinking about Acanthe. In the relation with her beloved sensitive and tender. With strangers stiffen and stubborn. Acanthe is very active, it is not enough to follow the bike for 10 km, run up the hill, one hour of swimming and constant retrieving of a ball on the way back. After one hour of rest, she again start to have this typical expression "what are we going to do next" ? This extreme energy and endurance is unfortunately unused properly, because with the same attitude she knows how to work! She ikes tracking and agility. |

l Acanthe mainly keeps her self busy driving people and dogs together and keeping control of her "herd". The ones, that don't want to corporate are punished with a grip into the leg or the butt! This behavior create a disorder in the group. It is so important for Acanthe to keep the control, she would even challenge a much stronger dog. However, she is not a dog that looks for fights. She either ignores or plays with strange dogs. Acanthe is a healthy dog, but she does need the help of a veterinary quit often. Mainly to close wounds, because she just does not know how stop. Since she was a puppy Acanthe was tearing down a gruff hills, jumps from great hight...I heard her owner saying "this dog does not have self preservation!"
Just as her mom Xara, Acanthe is a versitale, playful and hardworking dog. With amazing enthusiasm and energy she does her masters wishes!
At home, she is a pleasant companion that cares about her family, recognize their mood and is an excellent guardian. Her favorite toy is a ball, which she aport endless. Best friend is our Atreyu, Richy (a ridgeback) and her mother Xara, which Acanthe truly respects. The favorite place is on the couch at the feet of her family. Acanthe is between the Beaucerons I met the true talent for sheep herding, it is the work she lives for. She is a dog for the bad times, loyal, inventive and always ready to "be there" for her beloved ones. It is impossible to get bored with a dog like Acanthe! |
